The people of the Seeded Grounds are known as the Pueblo. The
continent has been sown with several macro-organisms of varying origin used as shelter, collectively known as
"biopueblos", or simply "pueblos".
The Pueblo embraced amphibian totems, and unlike much of the world,
still enjoy some closeness with those Animal Nations.
With the exception of the Carribean, shamanism prevails in the states
of the Seeded Grounds.

The Americas (the word "America" comes from the name of the ancient Incan god "Amay
Lyekka") consist primarily of three empires plus the Scoodlers of
Antartica. The government of all the states is anywhere from moderately
to totally theocratic. Clerics dictate policies to the underclasses.
There is a distinct shamanic bent to all religion, especially among the
Scoodlers, but ultimately dogma prevails. The God-kings and priests of
the three empires are all descendents of a Passion Sun God, and the
governments rely on this kinship to ensure peace among the three.
The capital cities of the Americas are infused with the transformative
power of the arcane, and have acquired an unnatural vibration in space
and time.
The totems of the Americas are avian.
Part of the landscape of the northern continental mass has been altered
by a massive earthquake. In 1903 a sea gull flying off the coast of
Hawai'i had an epiphany. It penetrated deeply into the Esoteric and
joined the ranks of the Passions. Such a rapid change drove the sea
gull insane, and it went on a psychotic rampage. The greater spirits of
the Avian Nations gathered to destroy the gull. Their annihilation of
the gull created a shock wave which precipated the Pacific Rim Quake.
The southwestern coast of the Seeded Grounds slipped south into the
northern lands of the Aztec Empire, and the oceans flowed in to the
coastal mountain range.
