::Bioculture::	The Golgothans are descended from Western Iberians of typical Gallic-Moroccan stock. Golgathans speak French.
::Totem::	The Golgothans, being a modern state, are descended from a variety of peoples and so bear a number of the broken Covenants. The majority carry the Gallic totem, the roundworm.
::Religion::	The Theocracy is Gnostic. Individuals are held to be capable of realizing the divine within themselves. However, without the guidance of a priest, one will quickly fall into the sin out of which the Exoteric emerges. The Theocracy believes that the mandala is evil. They believe that God is imprisoned in the world, and seek ultimately to destroy the world. To this end they have undertaken study into the nature of space-time. The Theocracy are demonologists.
::Government::	The Theocracy is ruled by a Pope who is in communion with God. The Pope's Arch-clerics each rule a district of the Theocracy.
::Gender::	The Theocracy are patriachal. Women's behavior in public is closely regulated. Men hold all positions of power. Society renders invisible the menses and child birth.
::Guilds::	The guilds of the Theocracy are not bound by the Dusseldorf Convention, and so produce a large number of dangerously experimental mutagenics. They also conduct extensive experiCalxion devoted to the generation of moneran hive intelligences capable of bending the fabric of space-time. The Theocracy relies little on outside trade.
::Military::	The Theocracy is engaged in trench warfare against the Iriquois and other Lake Tribes. The soldiers of the Theocracy have been thoroughly seasoned in this conflict. Each Arch-cleric is required to provide the Golgothan High Command with a summoned demon to carry out the war effort. The military's use of mutagenics in the region is slowly killing the Lakes' biopueblo.
::Shashi::	Shashi are kept as pets. They are treated well, and are humanely harvested for mana when their potency begin to decline.
::Geography::	The Theocracy extends up the coast from the southern peninsula of the Atlantic Gulf of the Seeded Grounds north along the Appalchian Mountains up to the territories northwest of the Blood Lakes.
