Pyrodiabolism is a very hands-on kind of religion; the laity, ignorant of the sacred teachings are kept under the subjugation of priests and their magic.
::Government::	The Yezidi Empire is a theocracy ruled by the Peacock King, a priest emperor. He is assisted by a council of magi. The Yezidi Empire was created in the past two decades with the rise of the Peacock King.
::Gender::	The Yezidi are patriarchal. According to religious dogma women are to stay at home at serve their husbands. In reality, however, women control the affairs of the home and enjoy much freedom and luxury in a kind of invisible underground society that everyone knows about, but no one talks about.
::Guilds::	The guilds have slowly become very powerful as religion has waned as an important force in the lives of the people. The crowning achievement of the guilds has been the development of neural riders, parasitic, slug-like organisms that can control the behavior of Breathing Plastics. The guilds have been particularly successful at securing trading privileges with Paneuropa, Africa, and Subasia.
::Military::	The Yezidi Empire has a large well-paid army that at seeminlgy random times is assisted by the arch-fiend Melek Taus. Force.
::Shashi::	The Empire values its access to the mandala. Shashi spend their entire lives at one of several sites where there exists a sprawling factory farm.
::Geography::	The Yezidi Empire stretches from the Mediterranean in the west to India in the east, south of the Sarai Khanate.
