::Bioculture:: Noosaqua was founded by Scandinavian pirates and Inuit. Noosaquin speak an Inuit language.

::Totem:: The Noosaquin people had made their Covenant with the flat worm.

::Religion:: The Path of the Pain Saints is a religious practice that has evolved out of torture cults and the worship of primordial storm gods. Monasteries were established in the late 1800's by a number of enlightened saints. The number of saints have grown, as well as the number of practicing nuns. A smaller island far from the Noosaquin mainland was established as one large nunnery known as the Pure Land. This is where the saints and the nuns of Noosaqua reside. The saints conduct the business of ruling Noosaqua and teach the nuns the Truth of Suffering.

The saints teach that in order to attain enlightenment one must suffer. Through woship of the storm gods one attemtps to cultivate the energy and insight of these divine beings.

::Government:: The Noosaquin are ruled by the Pain Saints of the Pure Land. The nunnery is protected by an elite powered guard known as the Noosaquin Home Legion. Justice and foreign policy are decided by the Pain Saints and their adjunct nuns.

::Gender:: The Noosaquin are matriarchal. Men are hardy and capable, but are severely disciplined when disobedient to their women. The few monks that do exist are wandering sages barred from Iceland.

::Guilds:: Guilds focus much of their development on items which enhance and alter the body. The premiere product of the guilds is a powered armor based off a Aotearoan design, and minituarized using an Aotearoan technique. They export these to armies all over the world. Noosaqua is signicantly reliant on trade with its neighbors.

::Military:: The Noosaquin military is small, but very well equipped. The soldiers, mostly men, are well-trained, but there are few veterans.

::Shashi:: Shashi are kept as pets. They are generally treated well, but are sometimes used in religious sacrifices or are harvested for mana.

::Geography:: Noosaqua is the very large island within the Arctic Circle, to the northeast of the Banner State. The Pure Land is the large island between the Noosaquin mainland and the islands off the coast of Paneuropa. The Scandinavian ancestors of the Noosaquin originated from this island.
