::Bioculture::	Because of their totem, Iberians are hermaphroditic. Iberians are descended from Gauls, Moroccans, Picts, Jews, and Huns. Depending on the area people will be of a more or less heterogeneous heritage. Moroccans and Jews settled among the Basque and Catalan peoples, bringing African civilization. The Moroccans gradually acquired most of the wealth of the country, and came to make up the majority of the population. A racialist period followed, in which the Basque were forced to migrate into the Mediterranean. Jews, sensing the hostile climate, moved into the Venetian peninsula. A period of ethnic cleansing followed on the Iberian peninsula leading to the extermiNation of all non-Moroccan people. Iberia conquered the lands of the western mainland and peacefully annexed the Jewish homeland that had been carved out of the Venetian republics.
::Totem::	Iberians had made their Covenant with the earthworm.
::Religion::	Paganism is practiced in a wide variety of forms. Men are valued as spiritually the equal of women.
::Government::	The Moroccan expansionist power came out of Iberia and solidified its hold over the neighboring states. In the centuries since, power has decentralized into several hundred city-states. There is little unity among these city-states, but relations are necessarily peaceful. Austro-Scandinavia will undermine the power of any single city-state that might rival its power.
::Gender::	Greater Iberians maintain strict gender equality, and are very proud of this fact.
::Guilds::	The guilds of Central Iberia and Venetian Judaea dominate trade. The guilds deal mostly in sex, drugs and the general training of cheap thralls imported from Dorje Bala. Because of the meatspore invasion, the guilds have invested heavily in developing antiplasmics, and lead the world in this technology. Greater Iberia trades mostly with Austro-Scandinavia.
::Military::	Each city-state maintains a constabulary and a small force of mercenaries. Iberians are conscripted to fight in the North Sea Defense Force that Austro-Scandinavia has deployed along the North Sea in order to combat any Noosaquin invasion. Most constabularies and Defense Force units deal more with containing the spread of the meatspores, rather than protecting the land from the invasion of foreign armies.
::Shashi::	After WWII, Shashi were let out of the camps, but were sold into slavery. They are highly trained to perform various specialized services.
::Geography::	Greater Iberia encompasses the whole of the western Paneuropan mainland and the nearby Pict islands of the Atlantic. Greater Iberia extends north to a border with Danish Jutland, west to the Swiss Alps and south to include the boot-shaped peninsula of Venetian Judaea. Large pockets of Greater Iberia are meatforest.
