::Shashi:: ::Status::	The Shashi Status only refers to the status of most shashi. There very well might be Shashi living in the same state enjoying a better (or worse) status. It would depend on how rigidly structured the society is. Free shashsi exist only in Africa, where the Gods grant mandala access to each African upon their reaching adulthood. Servants are an underclass often trained as Calxs. They are citizens, just underprivileged; capable through great work and/or fortune of moving into "free" status. Beasts are shashi that live outside of society and are regarded as wild animals. Pets are slaves that are kept for companionship, rather than doing work. Slaves are used for whatever physical task is necessary to be done. Crop shashi regard themselves as being just another organism harvested, in their case, for access to the mandala.
